Susie Melton, 62

Ms. Susie Powell Melton, 62, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Bub and Peggy Powell, and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Goforth and Tony Gunter. She was a former employee of Watts Regulator and a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Michael Flynn and wife Tina, of Ellenboro; her 2 sisters, Judy Bridges of Ellenboro, and Barbara Austin of Patterson; there are 5 grandchildren, Jonathan Flynn, Benjamin Flynn, Megan Flynn, Cassidy Flynn, and Leland Flynn; 2 nephews, Ivan Bridges and Derick Bridges; a niece, Betty Bridges, and numerous other nieces and nephews.  
The family will gather at 828 Beam's Mill Road, Ellenboro and welcomes friends to visit at their convenience.  
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Susie's memory may be directed to the family or one's favorite charity.
