Susan Jackson Philbeck, 67
Mrs. Susan Jackson Philbeck, 67, of Bostic, died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Hospice At Wendover.
She was the daughter of Boyce Jackson of Rutherfordton and the late Hazel Burnett Jackson. Susan was a member of Walls Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Britt Philbeck; her daughter, Brenda Philbeck of Bostic; her 2 sisters, Barbara Bennett and husband Johnny Sr., and Debra Mauney and husband Jimmy, all of Rutherfordton; there are 2 grandchildren, Dustin Carpenter and wife Amanda, and Kaitlyn Philbeck Moore and husband Austin; 4 great grandchildren, Ethan Gamble, Wesley Carpenter, Mackenzie Philbeck, and Karsyn Moore.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Walls Baptist Church. The Rev. David Philbeck will officiate. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Britt Philbeck will serve as a pallbearer for his wife, and other pallbearers will be C.J Murray, Brad Murray, Jeff Mauney, Jamie Ramsey, and Austin Moore.
The Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
