Stanley R. Grindstaff, 52

Stanley R. Grindstaff, 52, of Forest City, died Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Barrier Grindstaff, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Grindstaff. Stanley worked with Harris-Teeter for over 30 years, at stores in Forest City, Shelby, and was currently at the store in Hendersonville. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bostic.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Shires Grindstaff; his son, Daniel Mark Grindstaff, of the home; his 4 daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Grindstaff, Ashley Rebekah Grindstaff, Faith Marie Grindstaff, and Molly Danielle Grindstaff, all of the home; his 2 sisters, Brenda Grindstaff Davidson and Debra Grindstaff Hester, both of Forest City; his 4 brothers, Larry Grindstaff and Ronnie Grindstaff of Forest City, and Edward Grindstaff and Dennis Grindstaff of Bostic.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Goode's Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Glenn Walker will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
