Shirley Dalton Tate, 70

Shirley Dalton Tate, 70, of Forest City, died Sunday, August 4, 2024.

She was the daughter of Loretta Dalton of Forest City, and the late William Dalton, and was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd Elmer Tate III; and a brother, Wayne Dalton.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Murray and his wife Melissa of Sunshine; a stepson, Floyd Elmer Tate IV of Rutherfordton; her three brothers, Ronnie Dalton of Alaska, Scott Dalton and Chad Dalton, both of Sandy Mush.

A Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
