Samuel Kyle Bridges, 40

Mr. Samuel Kyle Bridges, 40, of Bostic, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his residence.
He was the son of Samuel and Angela Bridges of Ellenboro, and Teresa and Tommy Philbeck of Bostic. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Clain Bridges and Luna Padgett Bridges, as well his maternal grandfather, Harold "Daddy Gene" Walker. Kyle was a former sheriff's deputy with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He collected knives, ballcards and old money.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Alisha Bridges of Forest City, Katlyn Bridges and Victoria Spencer Bridges, both of Ellenboro; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Kennedy Walker of Ellenboro; his sister, Nicole Bailey of Bostic; his brother, Justin Harrill Bridges of Rutherfordton; and his granddaughter, Alana Grace Hammond.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service. The Rev. Sam Burleson will officiate.
A Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
