Mr. Rudolph Reynolds, 87, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, June 15, 2019.
He was the widower of Ruth Fisher Reynolds, and a son of the late Caleb and Zella Reynolds. Rudolph was a US Army veteran, and retired as a diesel mechanic from Stonecutter Mills, after his retirement he had lawn mower and small engine repair business. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Forest City. He enjoyed fishing and older country music - especially George Jones.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Reynolds and wife Amelia, of Bostic, and Steve Reynolds and wife Amanda, of Ellenboro; his brother, Allen Reynolds of Spindale; his sister, Hazel Jones of Iva, SC; there are 8 grandchildren, Nikki Swink, Aaron, Makayla, Molly, Sarah, Samantha and Hannah Reynolds, and Nathan Brigman; 2 great grandchildren, Payton and Carsyn Swink.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Thurston Greene will officiate. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will render Military Rites. Pallbearers are Jeffery Reynolds, Steve Reynolds, Chad Butler, Anthony Odom, Ryan Swink, and Aaron Reynolds.
The Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
