Robert E. Hoyle, 84
Mr. Robert E. Hoyle, 84, of Bostic, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Fair Haven Home, Forest City.
He was the son of the late Belo and Florence Ross Hoyle, and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Hoyle, Bernie Hoyle, and Herman Hoyle, and 2 of his sisters, Modene Landis and Ruth Kimbrell. Robert was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Hoyle; a stepson, Billy Williams of Forest City; a stepdaughter, Nancy McCurry of Bostic; 2 sisters, Ruby Hutchins of Morganton and Lillian Greene of Kings Mountain; 2 grandchildren, Eli McCurry and his wife Ashley, and Ethan McCurry; a great granddaughter, Emily McCurry.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Sandy Level Baptist Church. The Rev. David Barton will officiate. Burial with Military Rites will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Fred Landis, Dennis Hoyle, Daniel Greene, Dale Chapman, Todd Lattimore and Ron Simpson.
The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3 pm Saturday at the church prior to the service.
