Ricky Lee Edney, 66

Ricky Lee Edney, 66, of Bostic, went home to the Lord Thursday, September 23, 2021.
He was a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanna Merchant Edney.  Ricky retired from Parker-Hannafin after 34 years and was a graduate of Chase High School. He was an very active member of First Baptist Church of Bostic where he served on the Brotherhood, and taught the Age 90 and Over Sunday School Class. He was the son of Helen Grace Quick of Forest City and the late Lee Edney.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kelly Lea Edney of Forest City; his son, Robby Lee Edney and wife Beth, of Bostic; his 2 stepdaughters, Samantha Moyer and her husband Charles, and Danielle Hampton, all of Florida; a brother, Bobby Edney and wife Terry, of Forest City; there are 4 step grandchildren, Jax Loveless, Abigail Ragland, Anthony and Roman Hampton.  
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Bostic. The Rev. Clay Earle will officiate.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the Memorial Service.
