Rebecca Dalton

Mrs. Rebecca Owens Dalton, 67, of Rutherfordton, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby.
She was the daughter of Mabel Toney Owens of Shelby and the late Carl Owens, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Lee Owens.  Rebecca was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Steve Jaynes of Shelby and Joey Jaynes of Franklin, WV; a daughter, Wanda Owens of Forest City; her sister, Margie Jones of Shelby; and her brother, Donald Owens of Shelby; there are 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Fork Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Billy Cogdell and Rev. Troy Dorsey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Owens, Adam Owens, Harold Dalton, Michael Owens, James Dakota Owens, and Terry Eudy.
The Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Saturday at the church, prior to the service.
