Ralph J. Bridges

Mr. Ralph J. Bridges, 91, of Bostic, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the widower of Dorcas "Dot" Bridges. Ralph was a former Deacon, Music Director and Sunday School Teacher at Walls Baptist Church.  He was an Army veteran of WWII, and had most recently worked at Wal Mart.
He is survived by two sons, Gary Bridges and his wife Carolyn, of Bostic, and Grant Bridges and his wife Lois, of Unicoi, TN; three grandchildren, Anissa Hill and her husband Dale, Patrick Bridges and his wife Natalie, and Jonathan Bridges; there are three great grandchildren, Ryan Hill, Jordan Bridges, and Destiny Bridges.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Walls Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Philbeck will officiate. Pallbearers will be Patrick Bridges, Jonathan Bridges, Ryan Hill, Joe Grant, Tony Robbins, Dale Hill, and Jordan Bridges will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
