Phyllis King Poole, 77

Mrs. Phyllis K. Poole, 77, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Roy A. and Annabell Sutton King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard King and Gilbert King, her brothers-in-law, Dan Hiland and Suford Jolley, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. Phyllis was a longtime member of Walls Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Poole; her 4 sisters, Sharon Deaton and husband Eddie, of Charlotte, TN, Robie Hiland of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Nadine Jolley of Gaffney, SC, and Elsie Graybill and husband Wayne of Forest City.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, March 22, 2019 at Walls Baptist Church. The Rev. David Philbeck will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Dale Ramsey, Doyle Hollifield, Dean Dyer, David Moore, and Aaron Vickers.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 3 pm Friday at the church prior to the service.
