Patty Slaughter

Mrs. Patty Wall Slaughter, 63, of Forest City, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Louise Smith Wall, and was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Slaughter.
She is survived by her beloved family, which includes her husband Hershel Luther Slaughter; four daughters, Ginger Ledbetter, Lillian Slaughter, and Cathy Smith and her husband Phil, all of Forest City, and Crissy Mathis and her husband Robert, of Rutherfordton; her son, Luke Slaughter of Forest City; two brothers, Ronald Wall of Harris and Ben Wall of Forest City; there are ten grandchildren, Todd Ledbetter, David Ledbetter, Angel Ledbetter, Amanda Ledbetter, Amy Ledbetter, Toby Ledbetter, Jamie Clayton, Joseph Clayton, Jon Clayton, and Caleb Mathis; there are also two great grandchildren, Riley Winters and Zoey Winters.
The family will have a Visitation from 2 pm until 4 pm Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service. At other times, the family will gather at the residence of Robert and Crissy Mathis at 1430 Baber Road, Rutherfordton.
Washburn & Dorsey is providing cremation services for the family of Patty Slaughter.
