Patricia Carpenter, 78
Mrs. Patricia Jones Carpenter, 78, of Golden Valley, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Cleveland.
She was the widow of Ronald Carpenter, Sr., and daughter of the late Garrett and Omie Lee McCurry Jones; she was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Jones, and a nephew, Ricky Jones. She was a member of First Broad Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Carpenter and wife Janet, of Midland, VA; her 2 sisters, Diane Hardin and her husband Ken, and Louise Rush of Golden Valley; there are 2 grandchildren, Shannon Carpenter and Coley Carpenter; and a great grandchild, Cobie Freitag.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 4 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Bradley will officiate. Pallbearers are Coy Hill, Ken Hardin, Shane Hardin, Kenny Hardin, and Steve Brackett.
After the graveside service, a visitation will follow in the First Broad Baptist Church fellowship hall.
