Ollie Geneva Kanipe

Mrs. Ollie Geneva Self Kanipe, 89, of Forest City, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the wife of the late C. Vance Kanipe, and was also preceded in death by her parents, James Andrew and Hester Street Self.  She was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church. Ollie loved to spend time with her children and great grandbabies.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley White of Gaffney, SC, and Joan Hagen and her husband Andy, of Anderson, SC; there are four grandchildren, Shane White, Sheila Osborne, Amanda Hutchins Hamrick, and Chuck Hutchins; there are six great grandchildren, Lilly White, Tegan Hamrick, Noah Osborne, Annie White, Eli Osborne, and Bela Osborne.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:30 pm Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Sandy Level Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Hensley and  Stan Schenkel will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:15 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
