Olivia Jordan Hallman, 16

Miss Olivia Jordan Hallman, 16, of Bostic, died Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
She was the daughter of Josh and Deana Hallman of Bostic.  Olivia was a rising senior at East Rutherford High School, where she was active in I-Genius, the Beta Club, the arts program, and was a recipient of New Century Scholars. She was a member of The Barn, volunteered at the Washburn Outreach Center, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity with her dad.  Olivia was planning on studying psychiatry at Wake Forest University. She was a member of Nana's sewing club, and always cared for others before herself. She is survived by many family and friends who dearly loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Nikki Hallman of South Carolina; her paternal grandparents, Harry and Donna Hallman of Bostic; her aunt and uncle, Cassy and Jordan Hallman; cousins, Darren, Logan, and Finn Hallman; her uncle and aunt, Chip & Michelle Hoppes; her cousins Zech and Bash; and her aunt Lorie Givens. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sarah Ann Murray.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2019 on the creek bank of The Barn, 590 US 74 Business, Bostic. The Rev. Sam Henderson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, due to her love of animals, the family request memorials be made to the Heart of The Foothills Animal Rescue, 1366 US 221 North Hwy, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
