Olin Willard "Pete" Powers, 77
Mr. Olin Willard "Pete" Powers, 77, of Bostic, died Saturday, February 1, 2020 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Olin Willard Douglas and Mary Magdalene Powers Brockington, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice June Powers; by 2 sons, Olin Richard Powers, and Olin Willard Powers, Jr; his brothers, Johnny Brockington, Russell George Douglas, William Powers, and Latson Powers. Pete was a self employed truck driver and worked for Justice Truck Lines for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Helen W. Powers; three daughters, Donna Collins of Illinois, Amy Augello of Shelby, and Robyn Lynn Joseph of Orlando, FL; three sons, Charles David Keller of Asheville, Jeffrey Prescott of Charlotte, and Steven Brian Powers of Oceanside, CA; four sisters, Winona Pearson of Hemingway, SC, Retha Hinman and Connie Bell, both of Goose Creek, SC, and Lee Taylor of Anderson, SC; there are 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pete will be cremated and the family may plan a service at their farm at a later date. Please check back with this website obituary for any updates.
