Norris Edgar "Spud" Murray, 68

Norris Edgar "Spud" Murray, 68, of Bostic, died Thursday, September 2, 2021.
He was the son of the late Rev. Charlie and Ellen Smith Murray, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Murray, and a brother-in-law, Arnold Hubbard. Spud worked at PPG for 27 years. He was a loving dedicated father, friend and companion. He had a passion for classic cars and motorcycles. He was a jack of all trades and loved antiques of all styles. He will be forever loved and missed.
He is survived by his son, Wesley Murray and his wife Melissa, of Sunshine; fiance Mary Black of Sunshine; his sisters, Malena Tate and her husband Carl, and Elaine Hubbard, all of Sunshine, Freida Goforth and her husband Johnny of Rutherfordton; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Murray of Bostic.
A Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
