Nell Ruppe

Mrs. Guynell Geneva Greene "Nell" Ruppe, 97, of Ohio St, Spindale passed away Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at Hospice House, Forest City after a long illness.
Nell was the daughter of the late Henry Tilden Greene and Hulda Alice Donahoo Greene of Landrum, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Garland Jacob Ruppe, four brothers and one sister.
A native of Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and a mother. Nell enjoyed cooking, painting, drawing, sewing, family and entertaining her friends. Nell was a charter member of the "The Ladies In Hats Tea Club". She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Bostic, and was a member of Main Street Baptist Church of Spindale.
Nell is survived by three daughters, Brenda Ruppe, Johanna Ruppe, and Teresa Ruppe Ramsey; and a grandson, Anthony Ramsey, all of Spindale; a sister, Alice Fortune of Bostic; a sister in law, Hazel Greene McCants of Orangeburg, SC; a number of nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Alma French.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at First Baptist Bostic Cemetery. Rev. Ron Reep will officiate.
The family will be receiving friends at the graveside at 2:30pm.
