Nancy Kennedy Walker, 84

Mrs. Nancy Kennedy Walker, 84, of Ellenboro, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
She was the widow of Gene Walker, and a daughter of the late Paul and Ollie Kennedy. She was also preceded in death by her son, Steve Walker; sons-in-law Maurice Fowler and Tommy Philbeck; a grandson, Kyle Bridges; her sisters, Juanalda Francis and Melba Horn; and a brother, Robert Kennedy. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and was a lifelong member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. Nancy retired from Broyhill Industries.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Philbeck of Bostic, and Sherry Fowler of Rutherfordton; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Bridges Walker of Ellenboro; her grandchildren, Nicole Bailey and husband Chad, Jennifer Jackson and husband Shane, Amy Summers and husband Chad, Heather Sheehan and husband Phillip, Dereck Walker, and Patrick Walker; her great grandchildren, Chad J. Bailey and Brooke, Madison Bailey and Trey, Alisha Bridges and Colton, Katelyn Bridges, Klaire Jackson, Maddie Summers, Mollie Summers, Morgyn Summers, Victoria Spencer-Bridges, Simon Sheehan, Isabelle Walker, Garrett Walker, and Easton Walker; her great great grandchildren, Blake Bailey, Carter Bailey, Easton Van Dyke, and Alaina Hammond; a sister-in-law, Selma Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2019 at Salem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Sam Burleson will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 4:30 pm until 5:45 pm Friday in the Salem UMC Fellowship Hall. At other times, the family will gather at 727 Salem Church Road, Bostic.
