Mrs. Minnie P. Norville, 83, of US Hwy 64, Rutherfordton, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
She was the widow of Ben Norville, and daughter of the late Jesse and Lorrena Pritchard. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Buff and her husband Bobby, and Donna Norville and her boyfriend Cecil Hopper, all of Rutherfordton; four sisters, Virgie Smith and Bessie Huffman, both of Morganton, Margaret Clark of Lenoir, and Emma Jean Ledford of Newland; two grandsons, Forrest Buff and Kyle Buff; and two special caregivers, Vivian and Scott Woody.
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Cane Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Camp and Rev. Ron Boone will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Rocky Smith, Junior Smith, Henry Belada, Jesse Pritchard, Mark Fruend, and Brian Fruend.
The Visitation will be from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service. The body will lie in state during the visitation hour.
