Maxine Romney, 86
Mrs. Maxine Gross Romney, 86, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Fay Klausner Gross. Maxine was a Professor of Business at Cleveland Community College for 25 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Propst and husband Randy, of Mooresboro; her son, Edward Romney of Ellenboro; a sister, Arlene Fink of Pacific Palisades, CA; there are 4 grandchildren, Nick Propst, Sammy Romney, Nessa Romney, and Logan Romney.
The Funeral will be conducted at 7:oo pm Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. Elizabeth Propst and Edward Romney will both have eulogies for their mother.
A private burial will take place later at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 6 pm until 7 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
