Macie T. "Carolyn" Cook, 79
Mrs. Macie T. "Carolyn Cook, 79, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late James and Willie Merritt Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Cook; a son, James Morgan Cook; her 2 sisters, Becky Moses and Leona Thomas; and 3 brothers, Henry Thomas, Kell Thomas, and Phillip Thomas. She was retired from Wal Mart.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Vickie Cook of Henrietta, Darla Bright and husband Roger, of Ellenboro, Catherine Richardson and husband Cory, of York, SC, and Kelly Cook of Kings Mountain; her son, Harry F. "Buck" Cook Jr., and wife Lynn of Crouse, NC; a brother, David Thomas of Rock Hill, SC; there are 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The family is planning a Memorial Service for 1:30 pm Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Ellenboro Woman's Club, 107 North Glenn Street, Ellenboro. Pastor Danny Jacques will officiate.
Any flowers should be delivered to the residence of Darla Bright, at 1267 Piney Mountain Church Road, Ellenboro.
