Mrs. Lynne Jenkins Toney, 41, of Lawndale, died Sunday, January 25, 2015.
She was the daughter of Mickey and Jeanne Jenkins of Harris. Lynne was a Registered Nurse with Hospice of Cleveland County, and a 1994 Graduate of Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte. She was a 1991 Graduate of Chase High School and a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, and an avid softball player.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by the love of her life, her husband Dale Toney; and a sister, Amy Trubey and her husband Mike, of Harris; nieces and nephews, Joshua Trubey, Anna Grace Trubey, Rebecca Oros and husband John, Blake Henson and fiancée Jessica Lewis, Hayley Henson, and Hunter Robinson; a great nephew, Aiden Henson; mother in law, Kathy Toney; and a sister in law, Janet Robinson and her husband Jack; and a number of aunts and uncles.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 5083 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic. The Rev. Eugene Passmore will officiate. Cremation will take place after services. Pallbearers are Richie Gordon, Phil Murray, Andrew Murray, Jack Robinson, Blake Henson, and Hunter Robinson.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service, at other times the family will gather at the residence of Mickey and Jeanne Jenkins, 197 Jenkins Road, Harris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 953 Wendover Heights Road, Shelby, NC 280150 or the Community Pet Center, PO Box 623, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
