Leah Fortenbury, 89
Mrs. Leah W. Fortenbury, 89, of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late John and Nora Grigg Wright.
She is survived by her daughter, Ginger Fortenbury of Ellenboro; and a son, Randall Fortenbury and his wife Debbie, of Henderson, NV; her sister, Recca Grigg of Shelby; there are five grandchildren, Twiana Poole Humphries, Jessica Stephens and her husband Miles, Jon Fortenbury, Eric Fortenbury, and Misty Poole Greene and her husband Chris; five great grandchildren, Brandi Humphries, T.J. Hodge, Chris Humphries, Lily Stephens, and Olivia Stephens; and two great grandchildren, Kenzi Bridges and Karsyn Tate.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2016 at Pilgrim Baptist Church. The Rev. Bruce Duncan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm Friday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
