Mr. Keith Allen, 57, of Forest City, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
Keith was the son of Sandra Millwood Allen of Shelby, and the late James Harold Allen. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church and the Rutherford County Moose Lodge. He was very involved in numerous fundraising activities for Hospice.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Diane Brandle Allen; his daughter, Nikki Allen of Forest City and her fiancée John Turner of Blacksburg, SC; his 2 sons, Josh Allen and Zack Allen, of the home; his 2 brothers, Chris Allen and his wife Suzanne, and Shawn Allen, all of Shelby; and his 2 nephews, Luke Allen and Josh Horchak of Shelby.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Golden Valley Church(formerly Golden Valley UMC), 1269 Golden Valley Church Road, Bostic. The Rev. Paul Simpson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Stacey Hudson, Keith McCurry, Jason Suttle, Stevie Humphries, Wayne Deviney, Richard Dobbins, Doug Melton, and Tony Jordan.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
