Jimmie Houser, 84

Jimmie Houser, 84, of Golden Valley, died Sunday, October 24, 2021.

He was the son of the late Vernie Houser and was a member of First Broad Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Cook Houser; his sons, Scott Houser and his wife Robyn, of Golden Valley, and Clint Houser and his wife Courtney, of Shiloh; his daughter, Tracy Houser Smith and her husband Stewart, of Spindale; his sister, Evelyn Phillips and her husband Steve, of Mint Hill; his grandchildren, Brittany Owens and her husband Dustin, Nicholas Hardin, Caleb Houser, Carter Hensley, Connor Hensley, Canaan Houser, and Chloe Houser; there are 2 great grandchildren, Emily Owens and Lauren Owens.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at First Broad Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Battle will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Guffey, Carter Hensley, Connor Hensley, Nicholas Hardin, Caleb Houser, and Canaan Houser.

The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
