Mr. Jimmy Chapman, 63, of Forest City, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
He was the son of the late John Junior Chapman and Georgia Lee Cogdell Chapman. Jimmy was a 1973 graduate of R.S. Central High School and retired from Southeast Power Company.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Chapman; his daughters, Amanda Byers and husband Elliott, of Rutherfordton, and Leslie Langley and husband David, of Bostic; his sister, Jo Ann Maloney and husband Johnny, of Sunshine; his brother, Harold Chapman of Forest City; and there are 3 grandchildren, Lucas Byers, Emma Byers, and Skylar Langley.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
