Jeff Penson

Jeffrey Lee Penson, 49, of Ellenboro, went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was the son of David and Mildred Penson. He left behind his wife of 21 years; Melissa Dyer Penson, two daughters; Sydney Penson Powell and her husband Allen Powell, and Kayla Penson; a son, Austin Penson; three sisters, Lynn Wishon, Sandy Bumgarner and her husband David, Susan Holtsclaw and her husband Robbie; one brother Joel Penson and his wife Amy. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The visitation directed by the family will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Temple Baptist Church located at Six Points. The family directed Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 also at Temple Baptist Church 132 Franklin Road, Mooresboro, NC, with the Rev. Robert Bradley and Rev. Roger Overton officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County PO Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043 or Temple Baptist Building Fund PO Box 368 Henrietta, NC 28076.
