Jean Gosnell

Mrs. Jean Weathers  Gosnell, 69, of  Whiteside Road, Rutherfordton, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Jean was the daughter of the late Ben and Gertrude Weathers, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Alvin Weathers.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Gosnell; two sons, Rev. Troy Dorsey and his wife Beth, of Ellenboro, and Roman Dorsey and his wife April, of Spindale; three sisters, Judy Saldo of Grover, Marie Lowery of Bostic, and Wanda Sherrill of Shelby; there are six grandchildren, Amanda Dorsey Cutshaw, Stephen Edward Dorsey, Trenton Scott Dorsey, Austin Jerry Dorsey, Hannah Fay Dorsey, and Peyton Meleah Dorsey; a great grandchild, Tyler "Ty" Andrew Cutshaw; and a very special cousin, Mary Johnson of Kingston, GA.
The Funeral will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2015 at Wilson Baptist Church. The Rev. Lamar Hewitt will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trent Dorsey, Stephen Dorsey, Austin Dorsey, Justin Cutshaw, Terry Saldo, and Michael Bumgarner.
The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 4 pm Sunday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service, at other times the family will gather at the residence of Rev. Troy and Beth Dorsey at 272 Right Prong Road, Ellenboro.
