James Thomas Mann, 80
Mr. James Thomas Mann, 80, of Sunshine, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at Fair Haven Home, Forest City.
He was the widower of Maxine Medlin Mann, and a son of the late Hobert McKinley Mann and Zona Ellison Mann. He was also preceded in death by a brother, J.B. Mann, a sister, Doris Mann Lowery; a half sister, Lena Sansing, and 2 half brothers, Hobert Mann Jr., and Bob Mann. James was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his stepson, Larry Boring of Duck River, TN; 3 step daughters, Laverne Copenhaver of Ooltewah,TN, Brenda Jordan of Charleston,TN, and Janice Braun of Maryville, TN; a sister, Annie Bolick of Bostic; 6 brothers, Jack Mann of Gastonia, Clifford Mann of Marion, Paul Mann of Bostic, Fred Mann and Colen Mann, both of Sunshine, and Carl Mann of Cliffside: there are 5 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
A Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Kagley's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Maryville, TN.
