Mrs. Helen Oates Grayson, 90, of Golden Valley, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Accordius Health, Rutherfordton.
She was the widow of Guy Harold Grayson, and a daughter of the late Harry Gunter Oates, Sr. and Gertrude Dotson Oates. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry G. "Bud" Oates, Jr.. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Grayson and Bob Grayson, both of Golden Valley; three grandchildren, Calder Grayson, Jon Grayson, and Chris Grayson; there are 2 great grandchildren, Emmett Grayson and Ethan Grayson.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2021 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. David Ledford will officiate.
Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
