Hazel Butler Lawter
Mrs. Hazel Butler Lawter, 75, of Rutherfordton, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Gazzie Davis Butler, and was a member of Walls Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lawter; a daughter, Joanna Street of Forest City; a son, Brian Lawter of Rutherfordton; two sisters, Lorene Butler of Rutherfordton, and Louise Liversedge of Phoenix, AZ; there are three grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Walls Baptist Church. Rev. John Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
No formal visitation is planned.
