Harry Stanton Hamrick,87

Harry Stanton Hamrick, 87, of Forest City, died Thursday, October 28, 2021.

He was the son of the late Hoyt and Luna Harrill Hamrick. Harry served as an Executive Vice President at Northwestern Bank for many years and in later years worked in insurance sales. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and a 50 year Master Mason and Shriner.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hamrick; his brother, Bruce Hamrick and his wife Doris, of Bostic; his sister Grace Quick, of Forest City; his stepdaughter, Trena Martelon of Hillsborough; his stepsons, Louis Roberson of Rutherfordton, and Greg Roberson of Forest City; a special niece, Cheryl Walker and her husband Tommy, of Rutherfordton; a special nephew, Rev. Jeff Hamrick and his wife Dawna, of Troutman; there are 8 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, November 1, 2021 at Salem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Sam Burleson and Rev. Jeff Hamrick will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Blake Carter, Bobby Edney, Timothy Hamrick, Randy McKinney, Ricky McKinney, and Greg Roberson.

The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm in the church sanctuary prior to the service.
