Harold Gene Chapman, 67, of Forest City, died Saturday, August 7, 2021.
He was the widower of Katherine Renee Ellis Chapman, and a son of the late John Junior Chapman and Georgia Lee Cogdell Chapman. He was also preceded in death his brothers, Jimmy Lee Chapman, Bobby Junior Chapman and Jerry Dean Chapman. Harold retired from Eaton Corporation and was a member of the Silver Flames Band many years ago.
He is survived by his son, Tracy Chapman of Hickory; his granddaughters, Mia Chapman of Forest City, and Victoria Chapman of Rutherfordton; his sister, Jo Ann Maloney and her husband Johnny, of Sunshine; his sister-in-law, Debbie Chapman of Forest City; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Visitation will be held for Harold from 5 pm until 7 pm Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
