Gracia Kennedy, 83

Gracia Kennedy, 83, of Mooresboro, died Sunday, May 8, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Julian Sturgis Latham and  Carmen Elisa Molinelli Latham. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Julian Latham II. Grace spent her childhood in Washington, DC, but lived most of her life in Rutherford County. She attended George Washington University and Converse College. 

She is survived by her sons, Jim Kennedy of Bostic, Kenneth Kennedy and his wife Lori of Fort Mill, and Bruce Kennedy and his wife Rebecca of Mooresboro; there are 6 grandchildren, Deborah Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy, John Kennedy, Bruce Kennedy Jr. and his wife Lucy, Nicholas Kennedy, and Grace Kennedy; and 2 great grandchildren, Ariel Kennedy and Bruce Kennedy III.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Glenwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Jason Toney and Rev. Joe Ervin will officiate.
