Grace Bridges Blanton, 85

Mrs. Grace Bridges Blanton, 85, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Oakland Living Center.
She was the widow of Bobby Joe Blanton and a daughter of the late D.C. and Georgia Bridges. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Irene Melton, Donnis Melton, J.Z. Bridges, Guy Bridges, Bobby Bridges, Frances Bland, Jewell Padgett, Joyce London, Wray Drury, and Betty Black. Grace was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Bradshaw  and husband Dale, of Ellenboro; her son, Shane Blanton of Bostic; her 2 sisters, Rheba Shirlen of Charlotte and Dorothy Jolley of Cliffside; there are 2 grandsons, Aaron Bradshaw of Fuquay-Varina, and Andrew Bradshaw of Ellenboro.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6:30 pm Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Conner and Rev. David Jendrey will officiate. Burial will be private in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 6:15 pm Tuesday in the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 767 Pinehurst Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
