George William Poteat, Jr., 74
Mr. George W. Poteat, Jr., 74, of Bostic, died Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
He was the son of the late George William Poteat, Sr. and Dorothy Reece Poteat. He also preceded in death by his wife, Denise Wood Poteat, who died February 10, 2018.
George was survived by his daughters, Lisa Hamrick of Rutherfordton, and Dr. Pam Poteat of Forest City; his son, Paul Poteat of Charlotte; his sisters, Cindy Booth of Rutherfordton and Dr. Amy Moye of Mt. Olive; three grandchildren, Carson Killough, Bailey Killough, and Brice Hamrick; and a great grandchild, Payton Trotter.
No services will be held.
