George Larry Murray, 69

George Larry Murray, 69, of Forest City, died Monday, December 20, 2021.

He was the son of the late Billie Pink Murray and Dorothy Lee Moore Murray. George worked for many years at Mastercraft.

He is survived by his daughter, Lora Murray of Forest City; half daughter, Christy Gettys and her husband Willie of Sunshine; his sisters, Charlotte Murray Hyde of Newton, and Angela Murray Turner and her husband Ted, of Mill Spring; his brothers, Danny Murray and his wife Selena of Gaffney, and Tim Murray and his wife Loretta, of Bostic; there are 3 grandchildren, Willa Gettys, Aden Friddle and Alissa Friddle.

The Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm until 7 pm Thursday, December 23 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. At 7 pm a brief, informal service will be officiated by Ted Turner.
