George Michael Hardin, 67
George Michael Hardin, 67, of Ellenboro, died Friday, June 4, 2021.
He was the son of the late George "Bud" Hardin and Shirley Bradley Hardin. Mike served his country as a member of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Terry Hardin; his 3 sons, Michael Greene and wife Jennifer, of Rutherfordton, David Hardin and wife Charity, Steven Hardin and wife Whitney, all of Ellenboro; 3 stepsons, Michael Deviney and wife Deedra, of Union Mills, Mark Deviney of Ellenboro, Douglas Deviney and wife Whitney, of Golden Valley; 2 brothers, Randy Hardin and wife Wilma, of Forest City; and Barry Hardin and wife Kimberly, of Rutherfordton; there are 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The Rutherford County Honor Guard will render Military Rites on the grounds of Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home at 5:30 pm Monday, June 7, 2021.
The Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday at Washburn & Dorsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 205 Regency Executive Park Drive, Suite 102, Charlotte, NC 28217.
