Floyd Charles Jones, 79

Mr. Floyd Charles Jones, 79, of Bostic, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Henderson Care Center.
Floyd was the former co owner of the former Floyd & Jim's Trim Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward Jones and Merliet Lee Toney Jones; and siblings, Jack Clarence Jones, Patsy Lee Clark, Joseph Lawson Jones, Mildred Sue Jones, Nollie Edmond Jones, and Darren Clark.  
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Chapman Jones; a daughter, Terri Shular and husband Robert Wayne Shular of Brevard; a stepdaughter, Sheila Franks of Franklin; a stepson, Mike McCurry of Golden Valley; a brother, Harce Leo Jones of Bostic; Dorothy Houser Parker of Cliffside, and Mary Donis White of Bostic; there are 3 grandchildren, Jordan Wayne Shular, Isaac Zachariah Shular, and Noah Samuel Shuler; and 8 stepgrandchildren, Jessica Volbela, Sarah Franks, Miranda Franks, Matthew McCurry, Jacob McCurry,  Zachary McCurry Claire Dysart, and Grace McCurry; 5 step great grandchildren, Autumn McCurry, Emma Volbela, Jackson Volbela, Ivor McCurry, and Jasper Franks.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Golden Valley United Methodist Church. Rev. Linda Stack Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Michael McCurry, Noah Shular, Matthew McCurry, Ronnie Hudson, Nathan Hudson, Eric Queen, Zachary McCurry, and Scott Burkett.
The Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
