Mrs. Florence Deviney Hoyle, 97, of Ellenboro, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Gaston and Maggie Green Murray. She was first married to the late Odell Deviney, and her second husband was the late Oliver Hoyle. She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Brandon Ingle, Beth Ann Harrill, and Thomas Chandler Deviney. She was a devoted mother and housewife, and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Ellen Bradley and her husband Horace, of Ellenboro, and Margie Hoyle and her husband Bobby, of Shiloh; three sons, Andy Deviney and his wife Janice, and Wayne Deviney and his wife Jean, all of Ellenboro, Tom Deviney and his wife Shirley, of Forest City; three sisters, Darcus Murray and Zaciena Murray, both of Bostic, and Cleo Splawn of Forest City; a brother, Robert Murray of Bostic; there are 15 grandchildren, Sandy Deviney Sanders, Patty Deviney Bond, Karen Deviney Hames,Tommy Deviney, Gordon Hoyle,Chris Hoyle,Michael Deviney, Mark Deviney, Doug Deviney, George Bradley Jr., Michael Bradley, Neil Bradley, Roy Bradley, Lisa Deviney Bradley, Jody Owens Jenkins, and step granddaughter Brandy Jackson and her daughters Harley and Sara; 20 great grandchildren, Ashely Langdale Hardin, Jessica McClellan Robbins, Allison Harrill, Amanda Deviney Francis, Tonya Deviney, Katelyn Deviney, Bricen Hoyle, Alex Bradley, Subrina Bradley, Angel Bradley, Gloria Bradley, Haley Bradley, Michael Neil Bradley, Mitchell Neil Bradley, Annie Bradley, Jessie Bradley, Destiny Bradley, Spencer Bradley, Shannon Bradley, and Brandy Jackson; there are six great great grandchildren, Madison Hardin, Keiston Murray, Keaton Deviney, Ava Francis, Jaileigh Lowrance, and Akira Logan.
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Mountain View Baptist Church. Rev. Wayne Toney and Rev. Bill Crowder will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Saturday at the church prior to the service.
