Flora Ann Walker Smith, 91

Flora Ann Walker Smith, 91, of Ellenboro, died Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Fair Haven Home, Bostic.

She was the daughter of the late Ulyess and Lona Mae Smart. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Vant Walker, and her second husband Charles Yates Smith; her brothers, Erastus Vance Smart, David Alonzo Smart, and Robert Lee Smart.  She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and had retired from Hoechst Celanese. 

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Parrish and her husband Jeff, of Jefferson, and Phyllis Johnson of Gallatin, TN; her sons, Rick Walker and his wife Vickie, and Jeff Walker and his wife Crystal, all of Ellenboro, and Mike Walker and his wife Bobbie, of Forest City; her sister, Wilma Mae Shytle of Ellenboro; there are 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Corinth Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Conner and Rev. Ad Hopper will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Walker, Logan Walker, Lucas Walker, Seth Johnson, Kamron Shytle, and Evan Dennison. 

The Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Thursday at the church prior to the service.
