Emogene Bailey Hamrick
Mrs. Emogene Bailey Hamrick, 76, of Fox Run Road, Forest City, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Una Bridges Bailey. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, a member of the Eastern Star, and retired from Electric Supply.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Hamrick; two sisters, Sally Mann of Gastonia, and Rachel McKinney of Rutherfordton; three brothers, Palmer Bailey, Bobby Bailey, and Fred Bailey, all of Ellenboro.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Salem United Methodist Church. Rev. Lynda Ferguson, Rev. Jeff Hamrick, and Rev. Mike Rice will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM Friday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or Salem UMC General Fund, PO Box 220, Bostic, NC 28018.
