Edward David Causby, Jr.

Edward David Causby, Jr., 53, of Ellenboro, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

He was the son of the late Ed Causby Sr., and Kathryn Louise Hall Causby. 

He is survived by his longtime companion, Kim Allmon; his son, Edward John Causby of the home; his daughter, Melissa Ann Causby Johnson and her husband Barry, of Forest City; his brother, David Edward Causby and his spouse Alicia, of Bessemer City; his sister, Alice Deaux and her spouse Melinda Adams, of Jacksonville, FL; a half sister, Carolyn Hoppes and her husband Roy of Bostic; and a grandson, Allen David Johnson.

The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Walls Baptist Church. The Rev. Max Burgin will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Rusty Emery, Allen Johnson, Zeike Pearson, Barry Johnson, Drake Johnson, and Bryce Johnson. 

The Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm Thursday at the church prior to the service.
