Dwight Towery, 68

Dwight Neal Towery, 68, of Golden Valley, died Saturday, May 20, 2023.

He was the son of the late Betty and Talmadge L. Towery, and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Annisha Lynnette Towery. Dwight was a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his brother, Michael Towery of Golden Valley; his sisters, Darla Sisk and her husband Donald, and Tamara Towery Grayson, all of Casar; his aunt, Phyllis Towery Stacy of Seneca, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. 

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate. Military Rites will be rendered by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Pallbearers are Keith Towery, Kyle Towery, Albert Petty, Jr., Ken Hardin, Larry Hunt, and David Brackett.
