Douglas Wayne Lowery, 64

Douglas Wayne Lowery, 64, of Ellenboro, died Thursday, April 21, 2022.

He was the son of Hazel Lowery of Rutherfordton and the late Garland Briscoe Lowery, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Darlene Lowery. He was a graduate of UNC Charlotte.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Garland B. "Pete" Lowery and his wife Kathi, of Bostic; a sister, Jill Lowery of Rutherfordton; and his nephews, Cory Lowery and Joel Lowery and his wife Emily, and Adam Mathis. 

The family is planning a private graveside service at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
