Dorothy Lookadoo

Mrs. Dorothy Campbell Lookadoo, 76, of Forest City, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
She was the widow of Glen Franklin Lookadoo, Sr., and was the daughter of the late Willie and Winnie Campbell. She was retired from Mastercraft and was a member of Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Lookadoo of Forest City, and Lisa Hudgins of Rutherfordton; three sons, Glen Franklin Lookadoo, Jr. and Robert Lookadoo, both of Rutherfordton, and Ronnie Lookadoo of Forest City; six sisters, Mary Hudson of Hollis, Marjorie Campbell of Mooresboro, Ruby Outen of Monroe, Grace Ramsey of Drexel, Linda Willis of Shelby, and Doris Blackwell of Ellenboro; three brothers, Oliver Campbell of Lattimore, Harold Campbell of Ellenboro, and Donald Campbell of New House; seven grandchildren, Taylor Lynn McClellan, Bradley Lynn McClellan, Noah Glen Hudgins, Abigail Rae Hudgins, Jacob Scott Hudgins, Austin Luke Luckadoo, and Ashley Cierra Luckadoo; there are five step grandchildren, Chuck Poole, Fred Poole, Cheryl Wright, Brandon Randolph, and Dustin Randolph.
The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church. Rev. Walter Campbell, Rev. Jack Crain, Rev. Kirk Baker, and Rev. Bart Shaw will officiate. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The pallbearers will be Harold Campbell, Donald Campbell, Clint Kimbrell, Terry Campbell, Roger Campbell, and Barry Hudgins.
The Visitation will be from 6 pm until 8 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service, and at other times the family will gather at the residence of Pam Lookadoo, at 149 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City.
