Dorothy Campbell "Bea" Lookadoo, 87

Dorothy Campbell "Bea" Lookadoo, 87, of Bostic, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

She was the widow of John Byron Lookadoo, and a daughter of the late Grady and Johnnie McFarland Campbell. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Motaleb; three sisters, Addie Mae Daves, Annie Bell Howell, and Mary Louise McNeilly; and two brothers, Dewey Campbell and Earnest Campbell. Bea was an exceptional wife and mother who cared deeply for her family and friends. Her strength and sweet smile touched so many throughout her life. She was a dedicated Christian and a member of Crestview Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Denise Lookadoo Davis and her husband Jamie, of Gastonia, and Myra Lookadoo of Rock Hill, SC; a sister, Helen Campbell Miller of the Duncan's Creek Community; her brothers, Gene Campbell of the Duncan's Creek Community, and Herman Campbell of Golden Valley; and a son-in-law, Moson Motaleb of Charlotte; there are five grandchildren, Elliott Motaleb and his wife Bienddy, Emily Bellis and her husband Jackson, Evan Motaleb, Chelsea McHugh and her husband Matt, and Skyler Smith; there are three great grandchildren, Abigail Bellis, Nolan Bellis, and Everly Bellis. 

The Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Crestview Baptist Church. The Rev. Kevin Rohm will officiate and Dennis Lookadoo will provide a Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Duncan's Creek Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Jamie Davis, Evan Motaleb, Elliott Motaleb, Scott Randall, Greg Randall, and Bryan Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Campbell, Marty Campbell, and Mark Randall. 

The Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 3:45 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
