Doris Deviney Bradley, 86

Doris Deviney Bradley, 86, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, August 24, 2024.

She was the widow of Horace Spencer Bradley and a daughter of the late Noah Odell Deviney and Florence Murray Deviney. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Neal Bradley and Roy Odell Bradley. She retired from Stonecutter after 30 years of service, and was an active, dedicated member of Mountain View Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her sons, George Bradley, Jr. and Michael Glenn Bradley, both of Ellenboro; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lovelace; three brothers, Tom Deviney of Forest City, Andy Deviney and Wayne Deviney both of Bostic; her sister, Margie Hoyle of Rutherfordton; her grandchildren, Thomas Bradley, Shannon Bradley, Destiny Bradley, Annie Smith, Jessica Smith, Michael Neal, Haley Bradley, Angel Bradley, Gloria Bradley, Mitchell Bradley and Brandon Green; and blessed with many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Mountain View Baptist Church. The Rev. Clayton Hartsell and Rev. Wayne Toney will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Thomas Bradley, Michael Neal Bradley, Michael Glen Bradley, Chris Hoyle, and Jacob Butler.

The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
