Diane Green, 63

Diane Toney Green, 63, of Forest City, died Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Atrium Health, Shelby.
She was the daughter of Floyd and Juanita Toney of Forest City. Diane was a member of Gantt's Grove Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU. She worked at the Burlington Caroleen plant until 1989.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband David Green; her son, Michael Green; her sisters, Brenda Kay Ligon  and husband Keith, of Patterson Springs, Elizabeth Smith and her husband Michael, Marie Roach and her husband David, all of Forest city; her brother, Dennis Toney and his wife Betty of Forest City.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Gantt's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Lane will officiate. Pallbearers are Johnny Green, Philip Green, Billy Green, Robert Thrift, Chris Ramsey, and James Thrift.
Friends may visit from 2pm to 6 pm Saturday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home to pay respects and sign the register book.
